Our first visit to the Czech Republic was to Prague in December of 2016. It was much colder and darker than we had anticipated, but all of the festivities of the Christmas markets helps to keep everyone in a joyous mood. Evelyn was 2.5 years old and we worried a lot about keeping her warm. We spent a lot of time in a toy store to keep out of the elements. European toy stores are awesome as they encourage kids to play with the toys they have for sale. We also discovered the sweet treat Trdelník

We went back to Prague in the summer of 2019. It is a city that is worth visiting at any time of the year.
